The SF10 System is the world's most advanced maneuverable troop parachute system.
The SF10A is a static line deployed parachute, designed for units that require a robust parachute capable of safely delivering paratroopers onto small, rugged drop zones at high elevations. The SF10A parachute is a state-of-the-art system, in service with the U.S. Forces. This system offers the paratrooper improved openings, greater maneuverability and softer landings than any other steerable round parachute system. The SF10A is available in two configurations; each offers the military user the same main parachute with optional harness/container and reserve parachute. The SF10 can also be used in conjunction with the MIRPS SLCP.
Modified Improved Reserve Parachute System- Soft Loop Central Pull (MIRPS SLCP)
The standard, chest-mounted reserve parachute assembly is designed as a back-up system for all models of the T-10 Series Non-Steerable and MC1-1 Series Steerable Troop Parachute Assemblies. The T-10R MIRPS is also designated for use with the SF-10A Steerable Troop Parachute Assembly. The 24-foot diameter assembly is manually activated in the event of a malfunction or failure of the main canopy.
