Self-Powered Heaters

Built for optimum efficiency and reliability in strategic field operations, the Space Heater Convective is designed to be a forward-deployed, self-powered, tactical space heater which delivers clean heated air to personnel shelters in austere environments. The HDT Space Heater Convective family of heaters are self-powered, liquid fuel burning, and comprised of forced air ducted type heaters. A thermoelectric generator supplies power for combustion and air handling. These versatile units can burn a full range of liquid fuels (DF1, DF2, DFA, JP5, and JP8) for maximum flexibility and control of critical resources.

Complementing the Space Heater Convective is the Large Capacity Field Heater (LCFH).The LCFH utilizes onboard diesel engine power and burns all grades of diesel fuels, including the military's JP8.The LCFH heater has a powerful fan system that delivers uncontaminated heat to your tent or duct system.
