MASTER is the first prototype
medium shelter to demonstrate advanced airbeam technology. The benefits
of airbeams in this application include light weight and rapid
setup.
MASTER is large enough for maintenance operations on a variety of
ground vehicles and small tactical aircraft, such as JSF. It is also
not too large for use as a field hospital or command shelter. Its aerodynamic
shape is much quieter in high winds and sheds snow and rain better than
traditional tents.
